We average the route's points and the ride's hours, correct the temperature for altitude and, for a ride more than 14 days away, use the mean of the last 5 years.

Past data
For a ride more than 14 days away there is no forecast: we use the mean of that same day over the last 5 years, hour by hour. We also read from the archive the weather of a ride or a sweat test more than 5 days old. Open-Meteo's archive combines the ERA5 reanalysis of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and ECMWF's IFS model.
